The Volunteer for Hospital (i)

Two weeks ago, I started my first probation of the volunteer for hospital. Every new volunteer for hospital has to finish two probation and then to be qualified. I am responsible for the giraffe. In the Chang Gung Children’s Hospital every story has an animal as an allegory and the animal of the sixth story is giraffe. I have to stay at a room of sixth story and play with the children cancered.
In the day only four children came to the room. One of them made me impressive. He likes to play bowling. He spent about two hours playing bowling and I had to form the bottle for him. However there are more twenty bottles. After I finished the work, I just felt very tired and wanted to sleep.
To play with children is a dead beat thing.

Ulysses

Yestoday I made an appiontment with my frined for a book of "Ulysses". He is a student of National Taiwan University. When I arrived in Taipei Station, I called him. But he had something to do. So I went to the vicinity of National Taiwan University and rambled over book stores alone.

I went to KingStone and there is an exhibition of books which are bargeins. I didn't see anyone I need, so I didn't buy. It was a bringdown. Afterward I went to two book stores I could buy secondhand books in. I bought a book about chinese poetry of introduction. Along the way to these books, I saw many people queuing up for food. I think the easiest selled thing in Taipei is food.

The final book store I went is called jasmine. I could buy secondhand books ,textbooks,CD and DVD in there. I bought three books. One is called Mutant Message Down Under and was written by Marlo Morgan,another is called the resident in Rubus Idaeus and was written by Jean Henri Fabre and the other is called History of the Theatre, Foundation Edition and was written by Oscar G. Brockett and Franklin J. Hildy.

After I ate the dinner, I went to a coffee shop and ordered a coffee. At there I finished a book of "Maya" written by Jostein Gaarder. It is a philosophic novel.
When I wanted to think what I get from this book, he called me. With spending a day waitting, I finally had "Ulysses".

The Discipline of New Volunteer for Hospital

Because I were late reaching the hostiple, I didn't see all of the doctumentary which were played by old volunteers. It is too bad. The doctumentary describes a pathetic family. The parents take care of two kids who can't be curable. But they didn't complain the god is unfair. They even help others needing help. Although I only saw the final part of doctumantary, I still learned something from the doctumantary.
In the afternoon, I learned how to take care of kids who are sick of cancer. Their immune system are much less than normal kids, so we cautiously take care of them. I hope I can help them and make them happy. And I can learn something from this work.

Self-Introduction (The First)

My chinese name is 謝仁峰 and my English and my English name my English name is Owens. I come from Tainan. There are many delicious food and many old houses in Tainan. The weather in Tainan is hotter than in the Chang Gung University.
My family are composed of my parents,an old sister and me. My sister is a student. My father is a worker. He always wants my sister to be a teacher and me to be a doctor. My mother doesn't have a job. She stays at home and washes our clothes and cooks dinners. She does all of things which are needs to do for home. I love her and I feel sad because she always stays at home alone.
My habits are watching movies, reading and listencing music. I like watching funny movies. They make me happy and I don't like to watch tragedy. For example, the movie of "Memories of Tomorrow". When it was over, I was crying and felt sad. I enjoy reading and listencing music. I like the books about science, history and religion. I also like reading literary books. I recently read a book called "love" and written by Tony Morrison.
